Shakespeare In the Park

Shakespeare In the Park is a bucket list item for anyone that adores the performing arts and it is one of the absolute best things to do for free in New York City!

One World Trade Center

One World Observatory is all my son knows about the World Trade Center which was built and destroyed in my lifetime. I remember visiting the Twin Towers to see my mother at work when I was a child (1970 something).

Holtsville Ecological Park

Our family has been in love with the Holtsville Ecology Park for over twenty years. This hidden gem houses an astounding animal preserve along with many other amenities.

American Museum of Natural History

I feel like a kid again when I visit the American Museum of Natural History. Curiosity and wonder fill my mind as I navigate towards the dinosaur bones, check my weight on a Giant Red Star, and see a 500 foot blue whale up close. (I am possibly more excited than the children I brought with me.)
