Hickory Run State Park hosts a variety of outdoor activities, but when we heard “Boulder Field,” we could not resist a trip. This 15,990 acre park, located in the western foothills of the Pocono Mountains, boasts a National Natural Landmark unlike any we had seen before.

Exploring Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve, Georgia

Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve is an ecological bucket list item. You can visit any time of year and find new and interesting plants taking their turn on the granite. Our family really enjoyed visiting and exploring the preserve with its refreshingly different ambience.
